While speaking to Julie Adenuga on Beats 1, Ed Sheeran revealed that if he had to re-do his “Divide” album that he’d pick Beyoncé and Eminem on it.
When asked about what the Eminem song would be about, Sheeran responded, “See, I think I’d do two different songs with him and choose one of them.”
He continued, “One of them would be like an introspective storytelling thing like “Stan” and one would be like a joke. You know when he used to joke rap? Like that time, “I Murder one rhyme, one word at a time, you never heard of a mind as perverted as mine,” I’d want to get him on that.”
When asked about doing a rap on a track with Eminem, Sheeran revealed that he’d probably just stick to doing what he does best.
“I feel like nobody thinks I could rap but I really enjoy doing it. [laughs] “But I really enjoy doing it. But in that aspect I probably wouldn’t because you’d be going against one of the greatest rappers of all time, which is where I would stick to what I’m good at. That’s something I would definitely put together in the future.”
