This Veterans Day, Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Rihanna, Dave Grohl and Metallica are among the many artists who will perform at the National Mall in Washington DC on November 11 for “The Concert for Value”, an event full of stars will pay tribute to the armed forces of the United States. The special, which also features performances by Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band, will be broadcast live on HBO at 7 pm in the USA. Hanks will serve as executive producer and appears in the special as Steven Spielberg, Meryl Streep, Jamie Foxx, John Oliver, and others will also attend the event, which is sponsored by Starbucks.
“Concert for The Value provide a national platform to ensure that veterans and their families know that the gratitude of Americans is genuine,” HBO said in a statement. “Millions of people, including veterans, active members, their families and Americans of all walks of life are expected to watch the shows live in person or on television, with the goal of raising awareness for the veterans service organizations dedicated to education, welfare, vocational rehabilitation and reintegration. ”
